23rd June 2016: First Summer Holydays Day
Today, it's been the first day of my summer holidays. I didn`t do anything but staying at home and relaxing. I got up late, I had breakfast, then I watched TV and I had lunch at my grandparents. In the afternoon, I didn't do anything special, either. In the evening I went running, I had dinner, I watched TV again and I went to sleep. Tomorrow will be a different day to do lots of different things!

17th July 2016: Starting a computer programming course
Tomorrow will be the first of five days in a computer programming course in Barcelona. I'll be there with Martí Juanola. He's got some programming knowledges because he's been practising at home for a while, but I don`t. That's why I'm a little bit worried because I may not like it; but I'm so excited to learn new things too.

22nd July 2016: Ending a computer programming course
Today has been the last day of the computer programming course. We both had a great time learning and we appreciate a lot the time we were there, even though we had to travel for four hours every day.

28th July 2016: My birthday
Today is my birthday!! In the morning I went to my grandparents' in Besalú and, my grandfather and I went for a walk in the mountains. In the afternoon I went to the cinema with some friends. We watched "The Purge".

30th July 2016: A beach day
Today, my family and I went to the beach. We had a great day! We took the car early in the morning and we went to Begur. We had lunch there and we were back home in the evening.

18th August: Reseting normality
There still are several vacation days remaining, but I started training basketball with my team today. Honestly, I'm so tired although I went running some times during this summer. We have training session tomorrow, too.

5th September 2016: Reaching the end
Just a few days left until we start school again and I still have to do most of my homework (as usual). Summer has gone so fast (as usual, too). I spent today at home doing homework and watching a film.

12th September 2016: Last Summer Holidays Day
Holidays are over. We're back to school, to normal life. Today I spent the day preparing everything for tomorrow and buying pens, pencils and paper sheets for the whole year.

Dear Mr. Noguer,

I'm writing you because me and my friends have some claims to our city. First of all, we think that Banyoles is a great city to live, with big parks and green zones to go for a walk. However, it feels like something is missing in the city, and sometimes we think that it is so boring.

That's why we thought about building something new. We have lots of activities to do here in Banyoles, activities organized by associations and other institutions, but they are always in the park or in the street.

We think that building a little cinema would be a good idea. We know that it is a small city, but we believe that a little cinema, with just two or three rooms would be very interesting and entretaining. If you don't like our idea, we also thought about a new space for young people, with games and activities at the weekend.

Adele

Adele is a famous Singer who has a very well-known hit named “Hello”.

She was born in 1988, in Tottenham, England. She started to sing when she was four, so she has sung for all her life! In 2001, Adele and her mother moved to Brixton, in the south of London. There, three years later, she wrote her first single, ”Hometown Glory”. Then, in May 2006, she graduated from the BRIT school. One year later, she released her breakthrough song, Hometown of Glory which she had written in 2004. Her second single, “Chasing Pavements”, was released in 2008. This year, she started a world tour which finished one year later. She receives a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. She wrote ”Someone like you”, in 2011. After this song she had a break. She became mother in October 2012, and she returned to the world of fame in 2015, with her most famous hit, “Hello”. With this song she broke a lot of record In Youtube.

Currently she lives in Notting Hill. She has been living there since 2008. She has already p0ublished four albums and she has been very successful.

A la vida no estem sols

Evidentment que no estem sols. Estem constantment envoltats de persones: quan anem a un esdeveniment o festival, quan anem a algun lloc públic… simplement sortim al carrer i ja trobem altres persones. Si et relaciones amb ells, ja és una altra historia, però de gent, n’hi ha. Una altra cosa és si tens persones que estan al teu costat quan les necessites, per això em pregunto, realment estem sols en els moments difícils? Necessitem estar sols?

Els éssers humans necessitem relacionar-nos. De fet, és una de les tres funcions vitals, la funció de relació. Si no ho féssim, ens moriríem. Però també necessitem estar sols, per prendre les decisions importants, per reflexionar; perquè si algú hagués de decidir per nosaltres, perdríem aquesta peculiaritat que ens caracteritza.

La solitud no és trista, de fet, és essencial per nosaltres. Hem de saber estar amb nosaltres mateixos, saber reflexionar, poder pensar en les nostres coses, etc. Tot i això, la solitud és subjectiva, hi ha gent que quan està sol no se sent sol, i, en canvi, quan està amb gent, sí.

El problema a vegades és que ens fa por estar sols, ens fa por haver de decidir per nosaltres mateixos, prendre decisions importants. Això passa sovint a les persones insegures d’elles mateixes.

 En resum, a la vida no estem sols, estem envoltats de gent, però hi ha moments en els quals necessitem estar-ho, per prendre les nostres decisions. La solitud és bona per nosaltres, però a vegades no sabem estar sols.

Des de fora, era un poble com qualsevol altre. Totes les cases ajuntadetes, tot perfectament ben posat, ben dissenyat. Si només t’ho miressis de fora, et semblaria que a dins hi té els seus habitants, amb les seves pròpies vides, els seus problemes i les seves alegries, les seves decepcions i els seus moments de felicitat. Però no és així. A dins, els seus petits habitants són esclaus d’un mateix rei, d’un mateix líder. Els pobres es passen el dia treballant dins de la gran fàbrica que hi ha repartida dins d’aquestes cases tan bufones des de fora, però tan tristes i grises des de dins. Processen milers i milers de petits microxips cada dia per fer funcionar estranys artefactes als quals la gent de l’altre món anomena dispositius. El seu líder es diu “Grans Empreses Multimilionàries”, i no els deixen parar de produir fins que han fet un determinat nombre de peces. Quan acaben, poden anar a dormir. La seva vida és una rutina sense fi.

A christmas day

Most of my christmas holidays were calm, quiet, and without many things to do, but the 27th was different. I went to Barcelona to watch a Basketball game and to iceskate.

I had been waiting for this day since October and I was very excited. We left home at three o'clock to get to Barcelona at five. We visited La Sagrada Família and La Pedrera, and then, we went to the Ice Palace. We were iceskating for two hours. As the Ice Palace is next to the basketball court, we didn't have to take the car. We watched the whole training and then the match began. The visiting team was attacking when, suddenly, a man jumped onto the court. The police had to take him out. Barcelona Team won by seven points. Before going home, we had a pizza in a restaurant.

It was a great day in Barcelona, and I'd really like to repeat it
